I recently discovered you can run ML transcription models (e.g., Whisper) in your browser thanks to the Transformer.js library.So I decided to build a completely browser-based meeting recorder and transcriber, à la Otter.ai .It comes with a notepad and the ability to easily export some pre-made prompts. That way you can quickly get Summary, Action points, etc. by pasting the exports in your favourite AI assistant.For transcription I’m using a (english) model called Moonshine that is quite performant even with “less powerful” machines and has a small size (~60 MB).
