Profile

Like many K-8 students, my son's school has a school 'spelling bee' in January.I made this tool to help my son:1. Practice spelling, and2. Practice typing. The tool focuses on 300 words from the standard 450-word list (specifically excluding the lower-grade words to focus on the more challenging middle-to-upper grade sets.Key features:- Audio Pronunciation: Hear each word before you spell it.- Definitions: Toggle word definitions to understand context.- Progress Tracking: Keeps track of 'mastered' words in your browser's local storage.I built this because I found existing tools didn't drill the right thing, e.g. using multiple choice instead of asking the student to spell each word correctly

Within the show hn launch space, the company focuses on its core offering rather than a broad product line.

Its current recorded stage is Show HN launch.
