Hello Hacker News!I have been working on SolarThing for about 6 years, so I thought I'd share it here. I created it to monitor an off-grid solar setup. It's been running flawlessly for about 5 years, only having problems when a Pi's SD card fails. I have it set up to monitor a Renogy Rover, an EPEver Tracer, and an Outback MATE2. I have Grafana setup for viewing the data and even have the ability to turn a generator on/off from SolarThing Android.It's designed to be usable by people without programming experience, and can be configured via JSON.
