We have succeeded in turning areas into hotel and tourist attractions with minimal cost and burden to the local residents. Description of your MVP:We renovate vacant shops and then operate a hotel reception and guest rooms. Plus, we provide deep local experiences for tourists by collaborating with local businesses as part of the hotel facilities such as a cafe for breakfast and a public bath for bathroom. Having gained customers and sales, we passed the PoC status, despite a severe impact of COVID-19. Solution for customers:We have been attracting customers (incl. repeaters) interested in sustainability, city planning and deep experiences. SEKAI HOTEL already has launched 2 bases in small towns in Osaka, Japan – Nishikujo and Fuse – and will open a new base in Takaoka, Toyama, Japan soon. SEKAI HOTEL has welcomed guests from 20 countries all over the world, and the total number of guests through the SEKAI HOTEL project
