Profile

Hi HN,I built S-Roll, a macOS app for turning long-form video into clips entirely on-device.Drop in podcasts, gameplay videos, or other long videos and get shorts or viral reels instantly. You can chat with the video to find a specific moment and turn it directly into a clip. S-Roll also does subject tracking, so the person or object you care about stays in frame when converting to vertical video.Everything runs locally on your Mac, including transcription and video understanding.S-Roll: https://saliency.dev/s-rollDiscord: https://discord.gg/B6HnneePmWould love feedback :)
