Profile
Hey HN, I've been building Relay (relay.chat), a simple, privacy-first messaging app. E2EE by default, no phone number required (email signup), no ads/tracking, sustained by optional donations with full transparency. It's very early—basic chat works, more features (dark mode, typing indicators, etc.) coming soon. Hosted as a PWA for desktop/mobile.Preview: https://messaging-platform-432fa.web.app/Source will be open soon. Would love feedback: UX, bugs, what’s missing vs Signal/Telegram, etc. Thanks!
As a business in show hn launch, Relay.chat – A new web-based secure messenger (early preview is listed here with the public details available about it.
