Profile

Quurk was incepted with the mission to make coding education accessible for anyone, anywhere. We sought to create a highly scalable game-based learning product that can address the digital skills gap; utilize the best AI can offer, and rewarding enough to sustain players' interest.

Globally, the digital skills gap means 1B people need to have necessary digital skills by 2030. As every nation introduces new initiatives to equip aging workforce and institute coding into mainstream curricular for kids as young as 7, therein lies a major gap in addressing this issue.

With that in mind, our flagship product Pastopia was borne - an open world game that combines an underlying UGC economy enhanced by an an agentic framework that supports text-to-code inference to enable accelerated world-building and puzzle solving with Python coding.

As a game-based learning product, Pastopia lowers the barrier of entry for young learners, making it fun and light to learn coding and very likely, giving these young learners their very first experience with AI.

By utilizing AI as a flywheel for player creativity, redefining the boundaries for AI-enabled gameplay, nestled at the intersection of entertainment and necessity where players can learn and apply real-world coding skills like Python to build new in-game assets and create new worlds.
