Based, ProxChat – A Local Buddylist works in show hn launch.

Profile

I created this entirely on a lark (thanks Claude), based on a half-remembered app from the early 00s. Does anyone remember something similar? It was an awesome little lightweight way to chat with fellow conference-goers.My recollection is it had a name (not proxchat) that was entirely unrelated to communication. Something like ... Pinetree? Platinumpad?

As a business in show hn launch, ProxChat – A Local Buddylist is listed here with the public details available about it.
