I made Prim+RPC to do just that.It bridges two JavaScript environments where you can't immediately call a function (like those defined on a web server or in a web worker) and makes it available to call from the client, regardless of transport, without compiler magic or additional wrappers, and using your favorite existing tools (as well as being fully typed).
