Website: http://www.mynamecon.com GitHub: http://github.com/codegenies/mynameconWebsite built for April Fool's day joke generator. The technical challenge was to be able to generate a large number of plausible conventions based on a person's first name and populate it with speakers, location, and a schedule. A secondary goal was to keep the server architecture as simple as possible to provide a low-cost path to scale. Back-end setup with AWS Lambda with a caching strategy to force a minimal amount of API calls and website hosted on S3.

The company sits in the show hn launch segment, where it competes on its core product or service.

It is recorded at the Show HN launch stage.
