My Oma (my Dutch grandma) taught me to sew, but it's a dying art.I've built an app to help people learn - like Duolingo, but for sewing. The gamification has a long way to go, but the tutorials are much more broken down than YouTube, and don't assume you have lots of prior sewing knowledge.I've run a lot of in-person sewing workshops, and found that people need reassurance along the way. So there's 1-2-1 help available (only on web currently, but hopefully on the app soon too).I'd like it to be a place where sewists can help each other and share tips.
