Show HN: I couldn't find any BS-free QR code generator, so I built one

I couldn't find any BS-free QR code generator, so I built one is active in the show hn launch space.

Profile

I wanted to create a QR code to allow guests to connect to my wifi. Easy task, you think. Apparently not - all the QR generators out there are full of unnecessary features, and they are privacy nightmare - scanning QR codes actually pings their servers. So my friend Claude Code and I created a free, privacy-first alternative - everything runs in the browser so no data gets exchanged with any servers. Oh, and it's pirate-themed, enjoy!

I couldn't find any BS-free QR code generator, so I built one is positioned in show hn launch, a segment that rewards a clear, focused offering.

Its current recorded stage is Show HN launch.
