Profile

I wanted something simple to capture my day to day life without having to create montages manually. So I built Snappit. Record 5 seconds every day. The app automatically compiles them into weekly, monthly, and yearly montages. No sign up. No account. No server. Everything stays on your phone. The constraint is the feature. 5 seconds is low enough friction that you actually do it, but enough to capture the texture of a day.Built with Kotlin Multiplatform (Android + iOS from a shared codebase).Happy to answer questions about the tech or the product. Feedback welcome.

I built an app to capture 5 seconds of my life every day is positioned in show hn launch, a segment that rewards a clear, focused offering.

Its current recorded stage is Show HN launch.
