That works fine for desktop apps, but it’s a real limitation when you want to automate them or plug them into agent workflows.We ran into this and built a way to host STDIO-based MCP tools in the cloud with zero code changes. It uses Streamable HTTP and supports token-based authentication (either bearer or inline in the URL). We also kept it simple by using the same config file format as Claude Desktop so you can plug in tools without rewriting anything.
