Profile

Hey everyone, I just wanted to point out that the project behind making a Material Design-based operating system (http://quantum-os.github.io/) showed up in two posts over today and yesterday. I hope everyone notices that many news articles were written yesterday (e.g. http://9to5google.com/2014/11/21/quartz-os-linux-material-design/ ) on Quartz OS, but today I noticed that at the top of Hacker News there was a post of Quantum OS. Does anyone know why they changed from their original name? --- It's also worth mentioning that the old Quartz OS links to github don't work, so I assume it's correlated to their move, not a completely different project that's very similar.

Within the show hn launch space, the company focuses on its core offering rather than a broad product line.

Directory data places it at the Show HN launch stage.
