Profile

Hi HN! This was my submission to my university's hackathon earlier this year. It allows you to set a schedule to block popular services and apps, across any device, with easy setup (iOS, macOS, android, windows, linux, browsers, etc).If you want to read more about how I made it, you can check out my blog post: https://matthew.science/posts/focusguardian/PS: I haven't actually added the code that checks for premium yet (probably at least a few weeks), so feel free to try more than 2 rules until I do :)

FocusGuardian – Block distracting sites on any device, on your schedule is positioned in show hn launch, a segment that rewards a clear, focused offering.

Directory data places it at the Show HN launch stage.
