Profile

Hi HN,Last year I started pushing the limits of my JavaScript text editor engine – wondering where the performance ceiling really is. Turns out it can go head-to-head with Monaco (VS Code) and CodeMirror in many scenarios. To show what it can do, I built FlixLines: a web-based log viewer that opens huge files directly in the browser – often faster than klogg (which is a native desktop app).Real numbers from my 2021 laptop: - 10 GB log opens in ~10 seconds - 20 GB in ~17 seconds - Memory usage under 100 MB - Smooth 165 FPS scrolling on my 4K screen, regex search, bookmarks, highlight rulesEverything happens 100% locally – no uploads, no installation, no server-side processing.Try the free demo
