Profile

Hey HN,I built Elevate because I wanted a "New Tab" page that felt calm and grounded, but I also needed a quick way to check top tech news without getting sucked into an infinite scroll loop. Most existing dashboards I tried were either too cluttered, required accounts, or simply lacked the one feature I actually wanted: a quick, unobtrusive view of Hacker News. What it does:- Calm Dashboard: Time, local weather, and a daily background/quote to set the tone.- The HN Drawer: A collapsible sidebar that fetches top stories. It stays completely out of your way until you explicitly want to see it.- Privacy First: No analytics, no tracking. Your name and location settings are stored purely in chrome

Within the show hn launch space, the company focuses on its core offering rather than a broad product line.

It is recorded at the Show HN launch stage.
