Hi HN,I built a small tool to help reason about configuration changes.You paste an old config, a new config, and optional context (e.g. “AWS ECS + RDS Postgres, production traffic”), and it explains what changed and what might be operationally risky.The motivation is very simple: config diffs are easy to see syntactically, but much harder to reason about operationally. Increasing a pool size, changing timeouts, toggling a feature flag — all of these look trivial in a diff, but can have non-obvious impact in production.This is not meant to replace reviews or deep system knowledge.
