Profile

Hi HN — I’m building a short-form video app similar to existing Reels-style platforms. The main problem I’m focused on is creator monetization. On most platforms today, earnings are opaque and difficult to access unless you already have significant scale. I’m experimenting with simpler and more transparent approaches that can work earlier for smaller creators.Right now, the biggest challenge is the cold-start problem, so I’m opening it up to early users to help pre-seed content into the platform while the feed is still forming. Early contributors will be considered for future perks, such as additional visibility or reach for their videos, once the platform grows (e.g. the first ~10k users). If
