I’ve been building agentic workflows and was frustrated with the 10-second "cold start" times of traditional VMs and Docker containers just to let an agent run a simple grep or curl command. I built BashAPI to solve this. It is a serverless Bash environment written in TypeScript that boots in ~5ms. It is completely sandboxed (no access to the host OS) and has curl enabled so agents can fetch live data. I’m looking for feedback on the security trade-offs and what other commands the community would like to see supported.
