We are putting together an AI medical grade device to help doctors diagnose non-comorbid sleep apnea. Currently, the gold standard required the Registered Sleep Technologists to manually count the number of times, the patient stopped breathing for more than 10 seconds in their sleep. Our developed device can do so via sensors and AI tuned to count the breath stoppages automatically without human intervention. We thought that this will avail to a broader population a cheaper test to count the number of breath stoppages in our sleep.
