A tiny React lib for avatar fallbacks is active in the show hn launch space.

Profile

Small open-source React component I made after getting tired of empty avatar placeholders in my apps / SaaS.It generates a consistent avatar from a name and works well as a fallback when users don’t upload photos. No API calls. It comes with a NextJS helper to generate the same avatar as PNG and use them in your emails / mobile apps.

The company sits in the show hn launch segment, where it competes on its core product or service.

Its current recorded stage is Show HN launch.
