I wanted to create a simple old school RPG in the same vein as traditional MUDs or early MMOs. Just released the MVP for the game using some open-source assets from DCSS. Unlike DCSS though, the combat functions similar to an RPG like EverQuest or World of Warcraft where realtime turn-based combat meshes with skill and spell use.The idea is to return to the mystery and wonder of a game that does not hold your hand and allows the user to explore the world freely. Give it a try :)
