Show HN: A heatmap of New York City freight trucks

A heatmap of New York City freight trucks is active in the show hn launch space.

Profile

I built this on top of a synthetic dataset from a 2023 paper out of NYU's C2Smart Center. The trucks represented aren't real, but the patterns closely mirror real freight truck behavior. I wrote a blog post further explaining how this works and the story behind it: https://infrastructure.bearblog.dev/steel-arteries/Cheers!

Within the show hn launch space, the company focuses on its core offering rather than a broad product line.

The company is listed at the Show HN launch stage of development.
